Active Start u4-u6 Sessions


30 mins training followed by game 2x10 mins
(ie. schedule shows 9:00am, then 9-9:30 training then game)


For our u4-u6 divisions we will be using the following training model:

  • Players arrive and begin with a HIGH 5 to the coach(s)
  • Coaches make sure players are dressed to play, full uniform, shin-pads (UNDER socks), soccer shoes
  • Players introduce themselves to other teammates while dribbling the ball
  • When coach is ready proceed with the session plan below based on Week this before coming out to the fields NOT when you get there.  Encourage families to look at these also should you need assistance

The goal of these sessions is to have all players being trained the same skills all across the age groups.  If you are short players, talk to the coach on the opposite side of your field....they are doing the same sessions -WORK TOGETHER.

Once all 3 Activities completed then proceed with a 2-3 minute break (drink water) and proceed with small sided game.  SHARE players if needed.

Finally the most important key note:  EVERYONE HAVE FUN!
